How to use this guide

  1. Read the section that matches what you are feeling right now.
  2. Read each verse slowly, out loud if you can.
  3. Turn the verse into your own prayer: "Lord, help me believe this today."
  4. Write the verse that stands out on a card or in your phone's notes.
  5. Return to it throughout the day when the feeling returns.

Anxiety

When your thoughts race and your chest tightens

Loneliness

When you feel unseen or forgotten

2 Timothy 1:7
The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?
Psalm 27:1

Stress

When the demands feel bigger than your strength

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29
Be still, and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

Hope

When the future feels uncertain
